Difficulty Levels

Difficulty refers to the level of skill and technique called for in a class.

Introductory

Introductory classes are designed for those who have never taken a yoga or fitness class before.

As a step below the beginner level, introductory classes move at a slow pace, take time to break down each pose and exercise, and are shorter in length to help you build endurance as you create a new movement routine. These classes are generally bodyweight only and contain modifications to help you feel safe and supported.

Nicole Rutsch

Nicole Rutsch is a Usui/Karuna Holy Fire Reiki Master Teacher, Animal Reiki Master, sound healer, herbalist, and transformational coach based in Los Angeles and New York. 

After growing up on a farm in Germany, Nicole developed a passion for farm-to-table cooking and nutrition that led her to start her own catering business. When she began partnering with clients in the wellness industry, she realized the need to help people approach healing from the inside out. She went on to study at the New York Open Center under renowned herbalists Peeka Trenkle, David Winston, and Drew DiVittorio. This path eventually led her to work with reiki, a Japanese therapeutic technique, which allows the healer to move energy in the recipient to encourage emotional and physical wellness. After witnessing reiki’s palliative effects firsthand, she became certified as a Reiki Master.  

Today, she travels from coast to coast to share her knowledge and help people find relaxation, healing, and balance. She also mentors sound healing students in The Soundhealers Academy, a certification course led by Alo Moves instructor Susy Markoe Schieffelin.
