instructor Instructor profile

Eleonora Zampatti is a body movement specialist, author, and fitness model. As a native of Milan, Italy, she began her career as a varsity synchronized swimmer and taught a variety of fitness and aerobic classes. At 27 years old, she left her career as an assistant professor at a fine arts academy in Milan and moved to New York City to enroll in a five-year dance program, where she studied ballet, modern dance, and flexibility.

Her life was transformed from the moment she entered her first hot yoga class, which showed her the cathartic power of linking breath, movement, and music. After years of taking an obsessive and aggressive approach to fitness, she suddenly let go of that effort and found beauty in her strength and imperfections.

Since she began teaching yoga, she has helped countless students find acceptance on the mat with flows that inspire self-love. As a survivor of domestic violence, Eleonora created the Ode to the Moon Project, a practice that combines art, yoga, and music to heal the soul and bring awareness to the topic of domestic violence. She encourages students to accept their vulnerabilities because “without weakness there can be no strength, and without acceptance there can be no healing.” Her inspiring classes provide students with the knowledge and courage to carry their practice out of the studio and into their daily lives.
