instructor Instructor profile

Nicole Berrie is the founder of Bonberi, a cult-favorite online wellness guide that covers nutrition, beauty, mindfulness, and more. She is also the author of the Body Harmony cookbook, which features plant-based recipes for intuitive eating.

Before her foray into the world of food, Berrie worked on the editorial side in magazines such as Vanity Fair and ELLE. During her time there, she searched for an online hub for holistic living that presented a sleek and editorial look similar to the fashion world but could not find any sites that caught her eye. This led to her to create Bonberi to bridge the gap between her lifestyle journalism background and her interest in wellness and nutrition. Bonberi has now grown into a multimedia brand and physical location with Bonberi Mart, a popular plant-based convenience store in New York City that has been featured Vogue, Forbes, and The New York Times.

As a freelance writer, Berrie has written for the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, STYLE.com, NYLON, Departures, and The Huffington Post. When she’s not cooking at home, she enjoys meditation, journaling, and spending time with her family.
